About the role
We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our client’s depot in Totton. This is a permanent, full‑time position working Monday‑Friday day shifts (40 hours per week) within the logistics and transport sector.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and general servicing.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on HGVs.
- Perform road tests and prepare vehicles for MOT examinations.
- Provide occasional roadside assistance when required.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and promptly.
Required profile
- Qualified HGV Technician (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- Relevant experience in a similar industry.
- Full driving licence, preferably with HGV entitlement.
