About the role
We are seeking a friendly and proactive Receptionist to join our Hoxton Shepherd’s Bush team in London. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring smooth check‑in and check‑out experiences while maintaining the high standards of our boutique hotel.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests with a positive attitude and manage arrival and departure processes.
- Handle guest requests, record feedback, and coordinate with other hotel departments.
- Accurately process guest billing, financial transactions and manage the reception float.
- Maintain up‑to‑date data in all hotel systems and generate daily reports.
- Answer telephone calls promptly and efficiently.
- Monitor public and back‑of‑house areas for security and cleanliness.
- Report maintenance issues and follow up on resolutions.
- Collaborate with all hotel teams and outsourced partners to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Participate in the hotel’s crisis and fire response teams.
Required profile
- Enthusiastic attitude with a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Calm under pressure and able to work independently, especially during night shifts.
- Excellent communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
