Housing Officer – Part-Time (Bath)

About the role

Curo is seeking a part‑time Housing Officer to join its Bath team. Working 18.5 hours per week on a hybrid basis, you will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of 450‑650 residents, helping to maintain safe, well‑managed homes and vibrant communities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a residential patch, building trust and keeping tenancies on track.
• Conduct tenancy audits, sign‑ups, viewings, mutual exchanges and renewals.
• Identify and address tenancy breaches early, balancing accountability with tenancy sustainability.
• Inspect estates regularly, ensuring communal standards and service contracts are met.
• Spot safeguarding concerns and refer to statutory partners as needed.
• Lead resident engagement and community‑development activities.
• Handle cases of harassment, hate incidents or tenancy fraud with specialist support.
• Signpost residents to external services for money, employment, training and wellbeing.

Required profile

• Experience in housing management, social housing or a comparable customer‑facing service role.
• Working knowledge of housing law and good practice, especially tenancy breaches.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build trusted relationships.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle.
