HR Advisor - Maternity FTC

About the role

KP Snacks, part of the Intersnack family, is looking for an HR Advisor to join its Ashby Human Resources team. The post supports more than 600 colleagues and over 35 line managers across the site, providing proactive, pragmatic and people-focused support on a broad range of HR activities. It is a 12-month maternity fixed-term contract, on-site in Ashby-de-la-Zouch.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR support and give managers practical guidance on people matters, supporting the site's people plan
• Support employee relations, including disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence management cases
• Use people data to support decision making, produce HR reports and monitor key people metrics
• Promote colleague engagement and wellbeing, supporting engagement initiatives and wellbeing action plans
• Manage transactional HR activities, working with Payroll and People Services on local and business-wide HR initiatives

Required profile

• Experience in an HR environment, ideally in an HR, People or Advisory role covering a range of HR activities
• Interest in employee relations and people management
• Strong experience supporting absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance matters
• Proactive, organised, able to handle multiple priorities and sensitive information confidentially
