HR Business Partner – Retail (Head Office)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join the People team of a fast‑growing retail business based at its head office in London. The role will partner with corporate functions, support leaders and help shape a high‑performing culture.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leaders across head‑office functions, delivering commercially focused HR support.
• Coach and support managers throughout the full employee lifecycle.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Support organisational change, engagement initiatives and people projects.
• Use people data and insights to inform business decisions.
• Collaborate with the wider People team to continuously improve processes.
• Handle employee‑relations matters with a balanced, pragmatic approach.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor.
• Experience partnering with corporate or head‑office functions.
• Strong employee‑relations knowledge and a practical problem‑solving approach.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to balance people and business priorities.
• Ideally experience in a fast‑paced retail, consumer or customer‑focused environment.
