HR Interim Advisor

About the role

My client is looking for an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join a busy and supportive HR team in Brighton. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated HR professional who enjoys a varied role and can confidently support managers and staff across a range of HR matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR guidance to managers and employees.
• Support employee relations cases, including absence management, performance, and disciplinary matters.
• Assist with recruitment processes and onboarding.
• Ensure HR policies and procedures are consistently applied.
• Maintain accurate HR records and support HR reporting.
• Contribute to HR projects and process improvements.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an HR Advisor/HR Officer role.
• Strong understanding of UK employment law.
• Confident handling employee relations cases.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload.
• CIPD Level 3 or above (desirable).
