HR Manager – Flexible start/finish times

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a market‑leading international business as an HR Manager based in Oldham, Greater Manchester. You will act as a trusted advisor to leaders, shaping people strategies, driving organisational performance, and supporting employees across the full employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with managers and senior stakeholders to develop and implement people plans aligned to business objectives.
• Provide expert advice on talent management, leadership development, performance management and organisational design.
• Analyse people data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improving engagement and performance.
• Support managers with complex employee‑relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence management.
• Deliver guidance on UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Facilitate talent reviews, succession planning and development initiatives.
• Contribute to organisational change projects and transformation programmes.
• Champion employee engagement, wellbeing, diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
• Identify and implement improvements to HR processes, policies and ways of working.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a strategic HR partnership role (HR Business Partner, Senior HR Manager, etc.).
• Strong employee‑relations experience with solid knowledge of UK employment law.
• Experience supporting organisational change and business transformation.
• Ability to influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or higher.
• Excellent relationship‑building and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
