Human Resources Apprenticeship 2027

About the role

Howden, a global insurance group, is offering a Level 3 HR apprenticeship in Milton Keynes for its 2027 intake. You will join on a permanent role from day one and complete an 18-month development programme. The salary is £23,000, and you must work in the office at least 3 days per week and live within commuting distance.

Key responsibilities

• Support the HR Advisory team and HR Employee Services team
• Answer HR queries and help keep employee records accurate
• Support new joiner onboarding and understand how employees are supported throughout their careers
• Shadow experienced HR Advisors on employee-related cases
• Help managers and employees with day-to-day queries and requests
• Gather and analyse HR data to produce regular reports and insights

Required profile

• Final year or recent school, sixth form or college leaver
• Full and unrestricted right to work in the UK, having lived in the UK permanently for the last 3 years
• Grade C/4 in GCSE English and Maths
• No overlap qualification with this apprenticeship
• Comfortable communicating with people at all levels, organised and able to follow processes accurately
