Installation Technician

About the role

Our client, a specialist distributor and installation business, is looking for an Installation Technician to join their growing team in Epsom. The role involves delivering, assembling and installing large equipment at customer sites across the UK while providing a high‑quality service experience.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out quality checks on products before dispatch.
• Load company vehicles and deliver equipment safely to customer locations.
• Assemble and install products on‑site to a high standard.
• Ensure customers receive an excellent installation experience.
• Work closely with a colleague on most installations and resolve customer queries professionally.
• Support the warehouse team with product preparation and pre‑delivery assembly.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a delivery, installation or field‑based role.
• Full UK driving licence and eligibility to drive a company vehicle.
• Good practical/DIY skills with confidence using hand tools.
• Physically fit and comfortable handling large, heavy items.
• Friendly, professional manner with excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Required skills

What we offer

• Basic salary £27,000 plus paid overtime (OTE around £32,000).
• Overtime typically adds £400–£500 per month.
• 37.5‑hour week, Monday‑Friday, with overtime opportunities.
• On‑site parking and company pension.
• Occasional UK travel, including ~two overnight stays per month.
