About the role

We are seeking an Interim Senior Finance Analyst to join a reputable organisation in central Southampton. In this temporary, hybrid role you will support financial management and decision‑making by analysing data, preparing reports and ensuring smooth financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide detailed financial analysis to inform strategic decisions.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, forecasts and annual statements.
• Monitor budgets, track performance, identify variances and highlight trends.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support financial planning and control.
• Assist in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Respond to ad‑hoc financial queries and deliver actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting and variance analysis.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively across cross‑functional teams.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent organisational skills.
• Professional qualifications in accounting or finance are advantageous.
