iOS Developer – Remote (Semi‑Senior/Senior)

About the role

Babel is looking for a semi‑senior or senior iOS Developer to join a remote team that builds critical mobile applications. You will work on high‑impact features, collaborating in an agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain native iOS apps using Swift.
• Implement eSIM flows, QR code scanning, and device‑camera interactions.
• Integrate biometric authentication (Face ID / Touch ID) for secure login.
• Build notification and email sending capabilities.
• Create UI with SwiftUI and UIKit, following Apple UX guidelines.
• Apply MVVM (or VIPER) architecture and design patterns.
• Consume REST APIs via URLSession.
• Write and maintain unit tests in Xcode.
• Participate in Scrum/Kanban ceremonies using Jira.
• Manage source code with Git, Gitflow, and Azure DevOps.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an iOS Developer (semi‑senior level or higher).
• Strong command of Swift and native iOS development.
• Hands‑on experience with SwiftUI, UIKit, Auto Layout, and Storyboards.
• Familiarity with MVVM; VIPER is a plus.
• Solid understanding of protocols, generics, and design patterns.
• Experience with Firebase services (push, analytics, auth).
• Competence in unit testing, Git, Gitflow, and Azure DevOps.
• Comfort working in agile teams (Scrum/Kanban).
