IT Support Technician (2nd/3rd Line)

About the role

You will act as a catalyst for change, driving the implementation of new digital solutions across the organisation. The role combines higher‑level technical support with basic Tier I duties, providing hands‑on assistance for client‑side devices, software and network infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Tier II/Tier III technical support across multiple departments, handling desktop, server, wireless and network issues.
• Administer and support systems such as Active Directory, domain trusts, SharePoint and related network components.
• Assist with imaging and deployment of desktops, laptops and other devices.
• Create and maintain documentation for IT procedures and systems.
• Participate in projects to implement new technologies, including virtualization solutions.
• Train junior staff on IT processes and tools as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Tier II or Tier III support role.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, domain trusts and group policies.
• Experience with network troubleshooting and wireless technology administration.
• Ability to monitor server logs for proactive maintenance.
• Familiarity with VMware virtualization and Microsoft SharePoint.
