Kitchen Porter – Busy Fish & Chip Shop

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Kitchen Porter to join our busy fish & chip shop. You will support the kitchen team by keeping the work environment clean, handling deliveries and assisting chefs during service.

Key responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment.
• Accept and store deliveries of potatoes, drinks and other supplies.
• Clean toilets, mop floors and maintain overall hygiene standards.
• Prepare potatoes and other food items as required.
• Clean grills, metal components and the fryer.
• Maintain the potatoes room and other kitchen areas.
• Provide general assistance and runner duties for chefs.

Required profile

• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Ability to provide references.
• Available for full‑time or part‑time shifts.
• Willingness to undertake a brief unpaid trial shift.
