About the role
Hays Education is seeking enthusiastic KS2 Supply Teachers to support primary schools in Hailsham, Sussex. This flexible position allows you to work on a day‑to‑day, part‑time or full‑time basis, matching your availability and career goals.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the KS2 curriculum across core subjects in line with school policies.
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with permanent staff to ensure continuity of learning.
- Provide timely feedback and record keeping as required by the school.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
- Experience working in a primary school setting.
- Passion for teaching and engaging with pupils.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a school team.
- Positive attitude, creativity and enthusiasm for learning.
Required skills
- Classroom management.
- Lesson planning and delivery.
- Assessment and feedback techniques.
