About the role

Our client, a leading accountancy practice in Kent, is seeking a Lead Tax Accountant to join their award‑winning team. You will work with high‑net‑worth individuals, SMEs and fast‑growing businesses, delivering a full suite of tax services across the South East and London.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review corporate and personal tax returns for a diverse client base.
• Provide expert advice on tax planning opportunities and compliance requirements.
• Manage and develop client relationships, ensuring high service standards.
• Collaborate with senior partners on complex advisory projects.
• Support junior staff and contribute to the practice’s knowledge base.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified (or part‑qualified with strong experience).
• Proven experience in tax compliance and advisory work.
• Strong analytical abilities and a proactive problem‑solving approach.
• Commercially minded and ambitious with a desire to work with prestigious clients.
