About the role
We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join a highly regarded secondary school in Hackney, East London. The position starts in September 2026 and is full‑time and ongoing, providing dedicated support to pupils with special educational needs.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group assistance to students with SEN.
- Support pupils with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia and other learning needs.
- Collaborate closely with teachers to enhance student engagement and progress.
- Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing and a supportive classroom atmosphere.
Required profile
- Degree preferred, though not mandatory.
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable.
- Passion for education and supporting student development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
