Lettings Manager – Lead Croydon Office

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Lettings Manager to lead the Croydon office of a successful independent estate agency. You will have full autonomy to drive performance, grow market share and develop a high‑performing team in a fast‑growing business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day performance of the lettings department, ensuring profitability and branch growth.
• Provide expert lettings advice and exceptional customer service to landlords and tenants.
• Identify, pursue and convert new business opportunities to increase market share.
• Conduct market appraisals and advise landlords on pricing and marketing strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, applicants and key stakeholders.
• Coach, mentor and manage the lettings team through regular performance reviews.
• Stay up‑to‑date with market trends and lettings legislation, offering informed guidance to clients.
• Collaborate with the wider branch to achieve overall business objectives.

Required profile

• Proven residential lettings experience, preferably at a management level.
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business and expand market share.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated, commercially minded and target‑driven.
• Knowledge of the Croydon property market is advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
