Lettings Negotiator – Residential Property Sales

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Lettings Negotiator to manage residential property lettings from the first enquiry through to completion. You will generate new business, match buyers to properties, negotiate offers and deliver a high level of customer service to both vendors and buyers.

Key responsibilities

• Register applicant enquiries and match buyers to suitable properties.
• Conduct property viewings and provide prompt feedback.
• Generate market appraisals and support the Valuer/Manager in winning new instructions.
• Negotiate offers between buyers and sellers to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Progress sales through exchange and completion, liaising with solicitors, mortgage brokers and surveyors.
• Proactively call the database daily to generate viewings, valuations and instructions.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date CRM with accurate applicant, property and offer details.
• Produce property particulars, arrange photography/floorplans and ensure compliant marketing.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, buyers and local contacts.
• Stay informed on local market conditions, comparable prices and competitor activity.

Required profile

• Previous experience in estate agency sales (essential) or strong sales/customer service background.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and rapport‑building abilities.
• Highly organised, self‑motivated and target‑driven.
• Full UK driving licence and own car.
• Strong local area knowledge (preferred).
• Confident use of CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
