Machine Operator – Night Shift (4‑on/4‑off)

About the role

Join a world‑class medical device manufacturing facility in Witney as a Machine Operator on a night shift. You will work a 4‑on/4‑off pattern (7 PM‑7 AM) operating sophisticated automated equipment that produces life‑saving products.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor automated production machines, ensuring optimal performance and line clearance.
• Record batch data and inventory using specialised systems such as MacPac and POMS.
• Provide first‑line troubleshooting, diagnosing minor faults and escalating complex issues to Engineering.
• Maintain a clean, organised workspace following 6S principles and comply with all quality, safety and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to “right the first time”.
• Comfortable with digital interfaces and quick to learn new software.
• Proactive problem‑solver who enjoys understanding the root cause of issues.
• Effective communicator who works well in a fast‑paced team environment.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production setting; experience in a regulated environment is a plus.
