Maintenance Technician – Residential Property

About the role
The Maintenance Technician supports the Community and Estates Management teams to deliver a high‑standard living experience for residents. You will carry out routine repairs, respond to unplanned issues and ensure the building’s fabric, mechanical and electrical systems remain compliant and functional.
Key responsibilities
- Perform day‑to‑day repairs and minor decoration across the property.
- Inspect, diagnose and resolve faults in mechanical, electrical and building fabric systems.
- Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and communicate status.
- Coordinate with external contractors and ensure work is completed safely and to specification.
- Maintain electronic maintenance records and monitor scheduled preventative tasks.
- Support cleanliness and overall presentation of communal areas.
Required profile
- Experience in building or property maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a community‑focused team.
- Good communication skills with residents, contractors and colleagues.
