MHE Instructor – Full‑time Shift Role

About the role

You will join GXO Logistics' established MHE team in Banbury, delivering training, testing, monitoring and mentoring colleagues on the safe use of material handling equipment. You will also produce documentation, issue certificates and liaise with the site administration team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver MHE training in line with accrediting body standards and onsite guidelines.
• Act as an ambassador for learning, providing on‑the‑job coaching and support to all learners.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest MHE regulations, health & safety legislation and embed new practices.
• Evaluate, record and maintain all individual training records accurately.

Required profile

• Current MHE trainer qualification and recent regular training experience (or experienced operator with valid licences seeking trainer qualification).
• Previous warehouse experience and holder of Counterbalance, Reach, VNA and PPT licences.
• Flexible approach to meet business needs and strong relationship‑building skills.
• Accurate administration abilities and proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
