Mid-level Front-end Developer – React & TypeScript

About the role

BABEL is looking for a proactive mid‑level Front‑end Developer to build a new React + TypeScript application from the ground up. You will work closely with backend teams and product owners to deliver high‑quality features while understanding the business context of your work.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and structure a React + TypeScript project from scratch.
• Integrate the front‑end with backend APIs and ensure smooth data flow.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑structured code.
• Implement unit tests using Jest or a similar framework.
• Deliver features independently based on clear requirements.
• Communicate progress transparently and explain architectural decisions.
• Continuously evaluate trade‑offs between technical approaches.

Required profile

• Fluent English (minimum C1 level).
• Strong hands‑on experience with React and TypeScript.
• Ability to set up a front‑end project and understand modern architecture patterns.
• Experience building reactive UIs that frequently update data.
• Solid knowledge of REST APIs and testing frameworks (e.g., Jest).
• Strong CSS skills and familiarity with modern front‑end tooling.
• Clean‑code mindset and the ability to explain decisions.
• Self‑sufficient, reliable, and proactive in raising risks.
