Mixed Tax Senior – Accountancy Firm in Lewes

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Mixed Tax Senior to join a well‑established accountancy firm in Lewes. You will deliver high‑quality tax services to a varied client base, handling both personal and corporate tax matters.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare self‑assessment tax returns and calculate individual tax liabilities.
• Compute capital gains tax and process relief claims for SEIS, EIS and VCT.
• Handle partnership and sole‑trader tax returns.
• Prepare corporation tax computations, CT600 filings and capital allowances claims.
• Submit P11D, PSA, CIS and ERS returns.
• Monitor compliance cycles for personal and corporate clients.
• Correspond with clients, HMRC and third parties.
• Support managers on ad‑hoc planning and advisory projects.

Required profile

• Professional tax or accountancy qualification (ATT, ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent).
• Strong technical knowledge of both corporate and personal tax.
• Excellent communication and client‑relationship skills.
• Proactive, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to staying up‑to‑date with tax legislation.
• Experience in a professional services environment.
