Mobile Mechanical Engineer – Commercial Property Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking a Mobile Mechanical Engineer to join our London maintenance team, supporting a portfolio of prime commercial properties. You will work from a company van, travelling across central London to deliver both planned and reactive services.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance on mechanical plant such as AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors and general plumbing.
• Diagnose and rectify faults in LTHW/DHW systems, TMVs, calorifiers and heating circuits.
• Carry out basic electrical preventative maintenance including lighting, socket checks and fire‑alarm testing.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any recurring issues.

Required profile

• Formal qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Plumbing (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent).
• Proven experience in commercial mechanical maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence and confidence navigating London streets.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
