Mobile Plant Operator – Milton Keynes

About the role

Join Biffa’s modern waste‑to‑fuel processing facility in Milton Keynes as a Mobile Plant Operator. You will work on a full‑time schedule, supporting both mobile and fixed plant operations to help convert waste into sustainable fuel.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a loading shovel (training provided)
• Operate a forklift truck (FLT) (training provided)
• Operate a 360° grab (training provided)
• Perform daily maintenance and record‑keeping for mobile plant equipment
• Carry out housekeeping across the site
• Assist with basic maintenance and cleaning of fixed process plant under supervision

Required profile

• Experience operating mobile or fixed plant equipment in a manufacturing or processing environment
• Good understanding of health and safety issues
• Strong organisational abilities and customer‑service orientation
