Mortgage Administrator

About the role

We are looking for an organised and proactive Mortgage Administrator to become the backbone of our mortgage application process. You will work in an office‑based environment supporting clients and internal teams throughout each case.

Key responsibilities

• Package, check and submit mortgage and insurance applications accurately via lender portals.
• Proactively chase lenders, underwriters, solicitors and estate agents to keep cases moving.
• Provide regular, reassuring updates to clients and handle inbound queries.
• Maintain compliant case notes and keep records up‑to‑date in our internal CRM system.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Mortgage Administrator, Case Manager or in a financial‑services administrative role.
• Exceptional attention to detail when handling data and financial documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication with a confident telephone manner.
• Ability to prioritise a heavy workload, multi‑task and meet strict deadlines.
• Basic understanding of FCA regulations.

Required skills

• Experience using a CRM system for case management.
• Familiarity with mortgage application portals and related software.
