National Sales Manager

About the role

Kenny Recruit is partnering with a fast‑growing UK distribution business in the convenience and vape sectors. The National Sales Manager will lead the expansion of the vape portfolio across major national and regional retailers, cash & carry groups, wholesalers and FMCG distributors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase distribution and revenue for all vape lines.
• Identify, pitch and secure new business with supermarkets, cash & carry operators, wholesalers and distributors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, category managers, store and depot managers.
• Negotiate direct trading agreements, ensuring competitive pricing, promotional alignment and compliance.
• Ensure premium product visibility, planogram compliance and correct placement across outlets.
• Conduct field visits to analyse performance, competitor activity and gather customer insights.
• Support demand planning by monitoring stock levels and generating replenishment orders.
• Collaborate with marketing and trade teams to activate in‑store promotions and POS displays.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of FMCG sales or national account management experience, preferably in vape, convenience retail or supermarket environments.
• Established relationships with UK supermarket buyers or category managers (e.g., Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Co‑op, Iceland).
• Strong understanding of FMCG retail structures and buying processes.
• Proven ability to influence buying teams and large store‑level decision‑makers.
