Senior Account Handler

About the role

JMG Group is seeking an experienced Senior Account Handler for its Blackburn office. You will be responsible for generating revenue, developing profitability, and ensuring full FCA compliance across commercial insurance portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Manage renewals, mid‑term adjustments, claims, queries and premium finance arrangements with accuracy and professionalism.
• Proactively drive new business by identifying coverage gaps with the Client Director and presenting quotations.
• Ensure all activities comply with FCA regulations and internal conduct policies.
• Maintain strong client relationships, provide expert product advice and secure renewal business through re‑broking.
• Promote the use of in‑house premium finance schemes.
• Support Client Directors and Account Executives as required, including handling client visits and producing pre‑renewal documents.
• Assist colleagues during busy periods and handle complaints in line with regulatory and company policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial insurance account handling, preferably at a senior level.
• Strong knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent customer service orientation and ability to build long‑term client relationships.
• Ability to work independently while supporting team members.
