Nursery Deputy Manager (Supernumerary)

About the role
Join Childbase Partnership as a Deputy Nursery Manager on a supernumerary basis, supporting the Nursery Manager at Knowle Green Day Nursery. This permanent role offers varied shifts across a 37.5‑hour week, providing leadership within a vibrant early years setting.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Nursery Manager in day‑to‑day operational oversight.
- Support staff development, team building and retention.
- Ensure compliance with DfE standards and Ofsted requirements.
- Help maintain high quality of care for up to 133 children.
- Contribute to health, safety and safeguarding procedures.
Required profile
- DfE‑approved early years qualification at Level 3 or above.
- Current experience in a leadership role such as Third‑in‑Charge, Assistant Manager or Deputy Manager.
- Passion for early years education and team development.
