Onboarding Executive

About the role

A client in Guildford is looking for an Onboarding Executive to support the Senior Onboarding Executive in managing new client accounts. The main focus is ensuring that all new clients meet the company's compliance requirements, particularly around anti-money laundering (AML) regulations. The role suits someone experienced in client onboarding with a strong interest in compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough checks on new and existing clients to evaluate their risk profiles.
• Analyse client backgrounds, business activities and ownership structures to identify potential risks.
• Ensure client information is accurate, up-to-date and well organised.
• Report high-risk or suspicious clients and suspicious transactions to the compliance team.
• Implement and maintain compliance policies, procedures and controls in line with UK regulations.
• Stay informed about evolving regulations and adjust onboarding processes accordingly.
• Build positive client relationships and guide them on compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with the Residential Property team to improve onboarding efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of compliance activities for audits and reporting, and prepare regular compliance reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree and strong knowledge of CDD and AML procedures.
• Experience in client onboarding and compliance processes.
• Professional approach, positive and proactive attitude, and analytical mindset.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Able to work independently and in a team, committed to regulatory procedures and aligned with company values.
