Onsite Service Advisor - Volkswagen Cars Poole

About the role

Van Mossel Automotive Group is hiring an Onsite Service Advisor for its Volkswagen Cars dealership in Poole. The Service Advisor is the main link between customers and the workshop team, keeping customers informed during service and repair, giving expert advice and delivering a premium aftersales experience.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout their service and repair journey.
• Communicate regularly with customers and give updates on the progress of their vehicles in the workshop.
• Explain vehicle faults and repair recommendations clearly and professionally.
• Identify opportunities to upsell essential and urgent repairs that benefit the customer.
• Handle customer queries, concerns and complaints and work towards positive resolutions.
• Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records in line with company procedures.

Required profile

• Experience in a service department; main dealer experience is an advantage.
• Good technical knowledge and the ability to answer customer queries.
• Ability to multitask, use your own initiative and work well within a team.
• Excellent communication and computer skills, and impressive organisational skills.
• Professional and courteous manner.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Extensive knowledge of CDK is desirable, though training will be provided.
