Operational Trainer

About the role
The Operational Trainer will join Eleanor Healthcare Group on a full‑time, on‑site basis in the London/Kent area. You will design, deliver and continuously improve training programmes that ensure all staff meet company standards, care regulations and best practice. This role supports the professional development of a diverse workforce across home care, care homes and other health‑related services.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, implement and deliver training sessions for staff at all levels.
- Create instructional materials, e‑learning content and job aids aligned with care regulations.
- Assess training needs in collaboration with line managers and evaluate programme effectiveness.
- Provide coaching, feedback and support to learners during and after training.
- Maintain accurate training records and competency assessments.
- Work closely with operational teams to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Excellent presentation, communication and facilitation abilities.
- Proven experience designing and delivering adult learning programmes.
- Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and ability to assess training impact.
- Highly organised with strong time‑management and problem‑solving skills.
- Attention to detail and familiarity with care regulations and standards.
- Experience in the social care or healthcare sector is advantageous.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in training, education or a related field are desirable.
