Paid Social Manager
We Are Aspire · London
Job description
About the role
An independent digital agency is looking for a Paid Social Manager to join its collaborative team, delivering commercially focused campaigns for clients across finance, technology, property, hospitality and nonprofit. The role covers the full campaign lifecycle, from planning and audience strategy through trafficking, tracking, activation, optimisation and reporting. It suits an experienced Senior Paid Social Executive stepping into management, or an existing Manager who combines campaign delivery with mentoring.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver paid social strategies aligned with client objectives, with a strong focus on B2B lead generation.
- Own campaigns across LinkedIn and Meta, from brief through to reporting.
- Manage campaign builds, ad trafficking, tracking, quality checks and troubleshooting.
- Build audience targeting strategies by industry, decision-maker and stage of the buying journey.
- Monitor budgets, pacing and performance, and recommend improvements proactively.
- Assess lead quality and campaign effectiveness against commercial objectives.
- Use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Looker Studio to measure results and build reporting dashboards.
- Present results, insights and recommendations to clients and balance several accounts and deadlines.
- Mentor a Paid Social Executive and collaborate with other agency specialists, such as programmatic colleagues.
Required profile
- Strong B2B paid social experience, including lead generation and longer buying cycles; B2B experience is essential.
- Proven ownership of the full campaign lifecycle, including technical setup and trafficking.
- Experience managing several client accounts and budgets at once.
- Previous mentoring experience, or readiness to develop a junior colleague.
- Programmatic experience is advantageous; a background focused only on D2C or ecommerce does not fit.
Required skills
- Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Meta Ads Manager.
- Ability to build, launch and troubleshoot campaigns independently.
- Confidence with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and reporting dashboards.
- Strong analytical skills and communication skills.
What we offer
- Salary of £45,000 to £47,000 per year.
- Hybrid working: three days in the office, two days from home.
- Ownership of a varied client portfolio across several sectors.
The interview process starts with an initial meeting with the hiring manager, followed by a practical task on campaign planning and setup, and ends with an in-person interview.
