Research Manager

About the role

Kantar, a global marketing data, insights and consulting company, is hiring a Research Manager in London. Research Managers partner with leading brands, delivering insight, consultancy and strategic recommendations that drive business growth. They build trusted client relationships, lead research programmes and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, using industry-leading methodologies, analytical techniques and tools to help clients make confident decisions on brand, communications, creative and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong client relationships and deliver insight-led solutions that drive business growth.
• Lead research projects from brief to delivery, ensuring high-quality outputs and an exceptional client experience.
• Turn data into clear, compelling and commercially relevant insights and recommendations.
• Use AI, technology and automation to improve efficiency, insight generation and client outcomes.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and support the development of junior colleagues through coaching and knowledge sharing.
• Champion continuous learning and role model behaviours that support Kantar's strategy and culture.

Required profile

• Strong experience in quantitative research and insights, in one or more of Brand, Creative and Innovation.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality research and insight projects.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills, able to influence and engage stakeholders.
• Analytical and commercially minded, with a talent for turning data into actionable recommendations.
• Project management and organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities.
• Collaborative, adaptable and curious, with a proactive approach to continuous learning.
• Experience coaching or supporting the development of others is desirable.
