Paraplanner – Up to £55k + Bonus – Hybrid – City of London

About the role

This is a technically focused Paraplanner position within a respected Chartered Financial Services firm located in the City of London. You will work closely with an experienced Financial Adviser who manages an £80m client bank, primarily high‑net‑worth individuals seeking pension, investment and protection advice. The role offers hybrid working and a competitive remuneration package.

Key responsibilities

• Write suitability reports for new business and annual client reviews.
• Conduct product, fund and platform research using FE Analytics, Defaqto and Select a Pension.
• Liaise with product providers to obtain policy information and ensure smooth case progression.
• Manage the full case lifecycle from fact‑find to implementation and ongoing review.
• Maintain accurate pipeline records and back‑office systems (Gateway).
• Coordinate annual client review processes and produce client valuations.
• Work with compliance and quality teams to ensure cases are approved and compliant.
• Handle fee reconciliation, client invoicing and processing of fund switches.

Required profile

• Highly organised and self‑motivated with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience handling end‑to‑end paraplanning cases for high‑net‑worth clients.
• Commitment to delivering high quality, compliant advice.
