About the role

We are seeking a temporary Science Lecturer to join Hertford Regional College on a part‑time basis. The role involves delivering Level 2 science lessons at our state‑of‑the‑art Broxbourne campus, inspiring students and supporting their progress and employability.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging science lessons for Level 2 learners.
• Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a safe and well‑equipped laboratory environment.
• Contribute to the development of course materials and resources.
• Collaborate with fellow staff to enhance the overall learning experience.

Required profile

• Passion for teaching and a genuine interest in student development.
• Strong interpersonal and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience teaching Science at Level 2.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS clearance check.
