People Advisor – HR Role in Scotland (Hybrid)

About the role
We are looking for a People Advisor to join the RNLI team in Scotland. Working hybrid with at least two days a week in Perth, you will support the Regional People Lead and help deliver high‑quality HR services to both employees and volunteers.
Key responsibilities
- Provide timely and accurate HR transactions including pay, reward, policy guidance, sick absence, occupational health and recruitment.
- Build trusted relationships across the region and resolve people matters efficiently.
- Collaborate with the Volunteering Adviser and central teams to update policies and improve ways of working.
- Maintain HR systems, ensuring data is current and accessible.
- Support talent development projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote an inclusive and diverse culture, positioning RNLI as an employer of choice.
Required profile
- Proven experience advising managers on HR policy and people‑management issues.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced operational environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Good knowledge of employment legislation and experience updating policies accordingly.
- Relevant degree, CIPD qualification or equivalent experience.
Required skills
- Strong understanding of UK employment law.
