People Culture & Engagement Manager

About the role

We are seeking a People Culture & Engagement Manager to join a professional services organisation on a 6‑12 month fixed‑term contract. Working closely with the Head of HR, you will shape and deliver initiatives that enhance employee experience, wellbeing, and a values‑led culture.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver employee engagement programmes that reinforce organisational culture.
• Develop and embed wellbeing, inclusion and diversity strategies.
• Create initiatives that bring company values to life for all staff.
• Coach managers to act as culture ambassadors.
• Analyse people data, surveys and feedback to inform strategy.
• Partner with HR and internal stakeholders to roll out meaningful people initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal communications to produce engaging culture campaigns.
• Monitor success of initiatives through KPIs and employee feedback.

Required profile

• Proven experience in culture, employee engagement, organisational development or broader HR.
• Passion for building positive workplace cultures.
• Strong understanding of employee engagement, culture change and organisational development.
• Experience developing EDI and wellbeing programmes.
• Confidence using people data and insights to influence decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at all levels.
• Project‑management capability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Collaborative, people‑focused approach with a drive for continuous improvement.

• Competitive salary £43,000‑£45,000 per year.
• Fixed‑term contract (6‑12 months) with potential extension.
