People Operations Specialist - French Speaking

About the role

The People Operations Specialist will join the EMEA People Operations team, reporting to the Team Lead. Based in London, the role supports managers and employees across French, German and other EMEA locations, handling onboarding, off‑boarding, Workday transactions and benefits administration.

Key responsibilities

• Manage new‑hire orientation, benefits administration, HRIS support and general admin tasks.
• Administer background checks and oversee the onboarding process for all new hires.
• Process salary increases, promotions, transfers, job changes, bonuses and relocations in Workday.
• Provide employee service on benefit queries, time‑off requests, policies and records.
• Act as the primary contact for benefit vendors and manage benefit invoices.
• Coordinate medical benefits renewal and employee enrollment for multiple countries.
• Drive immigration administration, contractor agreements and contract renewals.
• Partner with payroll to ensure accurate and timely salary and bonus payments.
• Lead People Operations projects to improve processes and employee service.

Required profile

• 1 to 5 years of experience in a People Operations or HR role within a fast‑paced environment.
• BS or BA in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; fluency in French required, German a plus.

Required skills

• Workday (HR user) experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ability to design and generate Excel reports.
