Personal Injury Solicitor – Specialist Claimant Team

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Solicitor to join our specialist claimant team in Berkshire. You will take ownership of a varied caseload of industrial disease and personal injury matters while supporting senior colleagues on complex, high‑value claims.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of moderate to high‑value claimant Personal Injury and industrial disease matters from inception to conclusion.
• Investigate and apply medical evidence to support client claims.
• Assist partners and senior solicitors on complex, high‑value litigation.
• Ensure files comply with regulatory requirements and best practice.
• Monitor financial performance, including WIP, billing and profitability.
• Mentor junior fee‑earners and support their professional development.
• Deliver exceptional client care throughout each matter’s lifecycle.

Required profile

• Current unrestricted practising certificate.
• Strong claimant Personal Injury litigation experience, ideally at Grade A level.
• Experience handling high‑quality EL and PL claims.
• Excellent litigation and case‑management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proactive, well‑organised with excellent time‑management.
• Commercial awareness and ability to manage financial performance.
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues is advantageous.
