Pharmacy Dispenser – Store Pharmacy Team

About the role

As a Dispenser you will join the pharmacy team in a UK store, supporting the pharmacist and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe and efficient pharmacy services. You will interact directly with patients, helping them understand their medicines and promoting health and wellness.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe supply of medicines, including ordering, labeling, endorsing and collection.
• Work with pharmacists and other healthcare staff to manage and deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the pharmacist when needed.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures to guarantee legal and safe dispensing.
• Stay up‑to‑date with store innovations and operational processes.
• Support patients in managing repeat prescriptions and medication adherence.
• Use evolving pharmacy technologies and new systems to improve dispensing efficiency.

Required profile

• Completed Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent) or first year of an MPharm qualification.
• Current, valid UK right to work (no visa sponsorship).
• Experience in community pharmacy is desirable.
