Practice Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of a fast‑growing financial services business in London. Working closely with the Directors, you will drive process improvements, manage compliance and support HR functions within a regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily business operations and ensure efficient workflow.
• Partner with Directors to support strategic growth initiatives.
• Improve operational processes and manage business performance reporting.
• Produce and analyse management information (MI) reports.
• Manage HR, recruitment, employee administration and payroll support.
• Lead and develop a team of 10–15 staff members.
• Oversee compliance, client files and suitability reporting.
• Maintain business systems, SaaS platforms and CRM tools.
• Coordinate projects, suppliers and office facilities.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an Office, Operations or Practice Manager in financial services.
• Experience working in a regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of MI reporting and business performance metrics.
• Proven ability to improve processes and drive efficiencies.
• Experience managing teams and supporting senior leaders.
• Comfortable handling payroll and financial administration.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Proactive, hands‑on attitude and ability to manage competing priorities.
