Process Operator

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Process Operator to join our biscuit manufacturing site in Livingston. You will help produce some of the UK’s most loved biscuits, ensuring consistent quality and smooth workflow across the production line.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and adjust key production equipment such as ovens, rotary moulders, cream mixers and chocolate enrobers.
• Set recipes, programmes and safety guards before start‑up, confirming equipment is safe and compliant.
• Monitor conveyors, refill hoppers, maintain chocolate flow and report any issues early.
• Carry out regular quality checks, including colour and product standards.
• Keep the workspace clean, safe and well organised.
• Participate in structured development plans to enhance technical skills.

Required profile

• Strong communication and numeracy skills to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• High attention to detail for monitoring processes and recording checks.
• Commitment to hygiene and safety with a practical approach to machinery.
