Product Governance Apprenticeship 2027

About the role

Howden, a global insurance group, offers a Product Governance apprenticeship in London starting September 2027. You will join a permanent role and complete an 18-month development programme, earning £23,000. The apprenticeship is Level 3 and requires at least three days in the office, with living within commuting distance.

Key responsibilities

• Build knowledge of insurance products and the regulations Howden must follow
• Learn how products move through their life cycle, from design and launch to review, improvement or withdrawal
• Support regular reviews to check products meet customer needs and offer fair value
• Review claims data, customer surveys, satisfaction measures and complaints
• Compare product performance and customer outcomes against regulatory expectations
• Collaborate with colleagues across broking, claims, insurers, risk and compliance

Required profile

• No insurance experience needed; training is provided
• Full and unrestricted right to work in the UK
• Lived permanently in the UK for the last 3 years
• Grade C/4 in GCSE English and Maths
• Not already holding a qualification that significantly overlaps with this apprenticeship
• Analytical, organised, adaptable and resilient, comfortable working with numbers and data
