Programme Manager, Digital Campus

About the role

The University of the Built Environment is recruiting a Programme Manager for its Digital Campus programme, a strategic investment transforming digital and online teaching, learning and assessment. The role sits in the Chief Operating Officer's Strategy and Planning office, reports to the Director of Strategy and Planning and works closely with the Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor (Digital Campus). It is a full-time, fixed-term position until October 2030, with 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage component projects to deliver the programme plan, managing change alongside day-to-day activities
• Lead projects centred on digital or technology infrastructure supporting teaching and learning, working with end users and technical experts
• Support the programme sponsor with the business case, and develop, monitor and maintain project plans and delivery roadmaps
• Apply the university's project management framework so projects are on time, within budget and meet KPIs
• Ensure robust governance, reporting to senior management, the Executive and the Board of Trustees, and risk and issue management
• Manage the Digital Campus budget, allocate resources and maintain supplier relationships
• Build stakeholder partnerships, coach project team members and contribute to improving the project management framework

Required profile

• Comfortable working with significant autonomy and focused on improvement and solutions
• Ability to work between the Horizons office in Reading and home, with at least two to three days a month in the office
