Project Engineer – Aerospace Industrialisation

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to drive aerospace and precision component projects from order launch through to production release. The role sits at the heart of our industrialisation process, linking customers, suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely, risk‑free delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain project timing plans, action trackers, risk registers and status reports.
• Track deliverables such as materials, tooling, fixtures, gauges, documentation and production readiness requirements.
• Coordinate activities across Engineering, Quality, Production, Planning, Purchasing and Supply Chain.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers to provide updates, close actions and manage expectations.
• Attend project launch meetings, engineering reviews, production readiness reviews and customer progress meetings.
• Identify and escalate risks, delays and blockers early to protect customer commitments.
• Support raw‑material, heat‑treatment, plating, coating and subcontract operations.
• Maintain accurate project data using spreadsheets, ERP/MRP systems and internal tools.

Required profile

• Engineering or manufacturing background with an interest in technical project management.
• Organised, proactive and comfortable working with technical information.
• Strong communication skills and ability to drive actions to completion.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems.
• Advanced use of spreadsheets for tracking and reporting.
