QA/QC Engineer – Electrical Modules (12‑month contract)

About the role

Apollo Engineering is looking for a QA/QC Engineer to support the delivery of electrical module projects for a key client. This 12‑month contract position is based in Aberdeen with a hybrid working arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Support QA/QC delivery across electrical module‑related project scopes.
• Review and work in accordance with project quality plans, inspection and test plans, procedures and client specifications.
• Coordinate inspection, test and verification activities to meet project requirements.
• Ensure deliverables comply with electrical, engineering, fabrication and construction quality standards.
• Liaise with engineering, project, procurement, fabrication and construction teams to resolve quality issues.
• Review supplier, vendor and subcontractor quality documentation as required.
• Identify, report and close‑out non‑conformances, quality observations and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate QA/QC records, inspection reports and quality documentation.
• Participate in quality meetings, audits, inspections and project reviews.
• Support continuous improvement of quality processes and promote a proactive quality culture.

Required profile

• Proven QA/QC experience in engineering, oil & gas, energy, construction or fabrication environments.
• Experience in the electrical discipline is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with module, brownfield, EPC, fabrication or asset‑related project scopes.
• Knowledge of inspection and test plans, quality plans, NCRs and corrective actions.
• Ability to work closely with engineering, project delivery, procurement and construction teams.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive issue resolution.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
