Quality Assurance Executive

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Executive to join the Linguistics sub‑department of our ISO‑17100 certified translation agency. You will ensure that translated content meets the highest standards of accuracy, consistency and client requirements across more than 100 languages.

Key responsibilities

• Perform non‑linguistic QA checks on translated files using CAT tools or other platforms, verifying omissions, punctuation, numbers and formatting.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of style guides, term bases, glossaries and non‑translatable lists.
• Record QA results in the appropriate tools and generate reports on recurring issues.
• Identify root causes of quality problems and propose actionable improvements.
• Support Global Resourcing by evaluating freelance translation and QA test submissions.

Required profile

• Excellent attention to detail and strong proofreading abilities.
• Organised, with solid time‑management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communicator who can deliver constructive feedback.
• Proactive, flexible mindset and a genuine passion for languages.

Required skills

• Experience with computer‑assisted translation (CAT) tools.
• Familiarity with QA software and LQA (Linguistic Quality Assurance) models.
