Quantitative Developer

About the role

Join Barclays' QA Securitised Products/Credit Development team to build advanced models and analytics that support trading, risk management and quantitative strategies across a range of credit and securitisation products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement quantitative models and strategies to optimise trading decisions, pricing and risk management.
• Maintain and enhance front‑office analytical libraries and provide infrastructure support for traders.
• Collaborate with sales, trading, risk and technology teams in London and New York to deliver customised solutions.
• Conduct research, data analysis and statistical modelling to generate market insights.

Required profile

• Strong programming expertise in C++ and Python.
• Experience working in a shared codebase within a multi‑developer environment.
• Willingness to learn financial mathematics and gain expertise in securitised products.
• Ability to work on cross‑platform (Linux RHEL/Windows) applications and distributed systems.
