Real Estate Senior Associate

About the role

Hogan Lovells is recruiting a Senior Associate for its London-based Real Estate practice, one of the largest and best regarded in the UK, covering development, joint ventures, asset management, planning, litigation, finance, construction, M&A, funds structuring and tax. The role is 35 hours per week, 9:30am to 5:30pm, with additional hours possible; the firm is piloting a hybrid approach and considers flexible working.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client projects to ensure timely, high-quality delivery and profitable outcomes, while building and strengthening client relationships
• Act as a source of advice to colleagues and share knowledge and expertise
• Manage, develop and lead more junior members of a team
• Take responsibility for an individual case load while working effectively within a larger team
• Stay aware of legal developments in specialist areas and attend relevant training
• Contribute to the management of the practice area and help manage the firm's reputation

Required profile

• 5 to 9 years PQE (or equivalent experience)
• Significant experience in transactional real estate matters and real estate finance transactions
• Ideally gained at a leading City or regional firm
• Strong academic background (minimum 2.1 degree)
• Experience managing an independent case load and working in a larger team
